Check voltage and amperage to all motors.  
Install gauges and check operating pressures.  
Check temperature across coil.    
Check for adequate charge and possible Freon leaks.
Check Pressure controls.      
Check crankcase heater.      
Lubricate all moving parts.      
Check belt and adjust tension.    
Check filters and replace (1” fiberglass only).  
Check the start capacitor and potential relay.  
Check compressor contactor.      
Check condenser coil.      
Check wiring and connections.    
Check vents and ductwork.      
Check attic ventilator/thermostat.    
Check condensate drain lines.      
Clean the exterior of condensing unit.    

 

- GAS HEAT     

 
Clean and adjust thermostat

(Use all cooling checks plus:)    
Check reversing valve.

Check outdoor thermostat.
